Cacao & Spice is beautifully located at the oldest canal of Amsterdam, in the neighborhood where the first cacao and spices arrived in the Netherlands.

With a wealth of knowledge and a network of connections to cacao farmers and chocolatemakers around the globe, we love to share the beautiful stories behind each chocolate. From the lush rainforests of Ecuador to the oldest national park of Africa in Congo, our Single Origin chocolates showcase the diverse terroir and craftsmanship of farmers and chocolate makers.

During our chocolate tastings, you'll savor Award-winning chocolates carefully curated from the finest small-batch producers. Guided by our expertise, you'll discover the nuances of different tasing notes that make each origin truly unique. As you indulge your senses, we will tell you the stories of cacao, chocolate, and the connection of Amsterdam with cacao and spices.

Single Origin Chocolate

At Cacao & Spice we exclusively work with chocolates made from beans sourced from a single region, every chocolate and every origin has it's own unique taste. Our commitment to biodiversity ensures that our cacao is grown in harmony with the environment, supporting sustainable practices.

We don't have public events, and don't have groups that can be joined by individuals.

Our chocolate tasting is mainly booked for corporate events, as a team outing, by universities, NGO's and as a private outing. ​
